Therapies for improved bodily functions

Trulife Home Health offers quality therapies that address patients’ different health concerns. Our therapists are more than willing to conduct these therapies in the patients’ most convenient and familiar environment— their homes.

Physical Therapy
When there is a need to recover or restore any mobility function, the need for physical therapy arises. Whether a loved one came from surgery, injury, or disease-related disabilities, our physical therapists can help him/her go through the rehabilitation process smoothly, prevent future injury, and improve his/her health so your loved one can return to enjoying the things he/she loves in life.

Physical therapy helps:

  • Decrease pain
  • Promote healing
  • Regain muscle strength
  • Restore function and mobility
  • Restore balance and mobility
  • Promote fitness and health through education

Occupational Therapy
We can help your loved one return to the activities he/she enjoys and allow him/her to function well at home. We offer occupational therapy that assists patients in restoring their functionality so they can achieve independence in daily living. If you have loved ones who require assistance in organizing and managing their daily routines related to self-care, domestic chores, and housework, as well as work and/or leisure activities, enlist our occupational therapy for them. Our occupational therapists will work with them on activities they can do before their health conditions arise.

Our occupational therapy aims to:

  • Help patients maximize their independence and self-sufficiency by providing training
  • Promote the restoration of dexterity required for daily physical function
  • Recommend activity modifications so patients can continue to participate in occupations at home and in the community
  • Teach exercise programs to increase joint motion, strength, and flexibility
  • Instruct about joint protection and personal energy conservation

Speech Therapy
Trulife Home Health has Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who can help patients improve their articulation, address swallowing problems, and develop better movement of the lips, tongue, and jaw. The goal of our speech therapy is to help patients regain and increase their ability to communicate through speech that might have been affected by their health condition, making them have quieter, shakier, and slower speech.

Our SLPs focus on:

  • Diagnosing verbal and non-verbal communication issues and their potential for rehabilitation
  • Treating voice disorders and Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)
  • Educating and counseling patients and their families about communication and swallowing
  • Promoting healthy lifestyle practices that help prevent speech-related disorders
